BIOGAS - RENEWABLE ENERGY - OUR FUTURE

Separator

General Features

  • Highly efficient screw press separator to remove compressible fibrous solids from contaminated medium
  • Liquor drains from the solids inside a stainless steel screen and rotating auger and a pressure controlled aperture
  • Auger is made of high quality stainless steel
  • Fibrous material of 25-35 % dry matter is formed which is easy to handle and allows for further treatment or composting to be undertaken
  • Depending on the application, the draining screen has filtering aperture sizes ranging from 0.1 to 1.0 mm.
  • A performance of 5 m³/h up to 100 m³/h is achieved, depending on the properties of the incoming material
  • The solid content of the intake material can be low from 1-2 % but also up to 16 %
  • The electrical energy need is only approximately 0.4 kWh/m³
  • UTS screw press separators are available in various models and sizes, all also made from stainless steel
  • Electric motor drives between 4 and 11 kW power the auger inside the cylindrical screen
  • High quality materials and manufacturing for a long life cycle
  • Very easy to install and service according to a proven basic construction
  • Many years of separation and dewatering system technology, application engineering, installation, operation and after-sales support is provided by the dedicated team of engineers and field sales people at UTS in both Germany and also in the countries where UTS have subsidiary companies.
